Mike started his career in 2002 as an attorney in the commercial litigation department of a large Pacific Northwest law firm. He and his family moved to Lake County in 2006. Since moving to Illinois, Mike has represented clients at all levels of the court system, including representing clients in bench and jury trials, and in appeals. In several appellate cases, he has successfully argued for the application of new law in favor of his clients.
Before going to law school, Mike worked in journalism as a reporter at the City News Bureau of Chicago. He received his law degree from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Arizona. He also has a diploma in Spanish language and culture from the University of Madrid, Complutense.

Representation
Mike represents clients under a variety of billing arrangements, including hourly rate, flat fee and contingency fee arrangements. Personal injury matters are handled on a contingency fee basis, meaning that you will not be charged a fee unless you receive a recovery.
